Walk through history and learn about the enslaved people who lived and worked on the historic properties that make up Monocacy National Battlefield, as well as the U. S. Colored Troops who enlisted at Monocacy Junction. A 1-mile hike will be guided by Park Rangers at the Monocacy National Battlefield. Hiking shoes, sun and/or insect repellent as well as drinking water are recommended for this program.
